Buddy

Another new entry today, a male hog, now named Buddy, weighing in at 717g, he was found because he was dug out by a dog. The dogs owner did the right thing, collected him up and brought him to us to be checked over – thank you Hayley.

He’s had a lucky escape, with with just some slight scrapes and bruising. He has a cough, so I will be checking a poo sample to see if he has lungworm, if he does, we will treat him for that and keep him in for a week or so while he’s being treated, then release him.
