Hamworthy Hedgehog Rescue

Boscombe

Tracy picked up this spikey bundle of cuteness from Boscombe earlier today, a lady heard what she thought was a bird in distress and went outside to see this little guy surrounded by cats.

The homeowner picked up the hog and put it in a box with a dish of water and some cat food, and gave us a call.

There are no obvious signs of injury, but he is dehydrated, so has been given SC fluids, a warm bed and some food and water.

Once he has settled, we will give him a thorough check, and check a poo sample under the microscope.

We are not sure what sex it is yet, as we can’t unroll it, but it weighs in at 328g.
