Hamworthy Hedgehog Rescue

New Entry

A new entry this morning – male hedgehog – has lost one eye to apparent old injury and now gone blind in the other eye. He was found blundering around, bumping into things during the daytime.

You can see in the photo how the right eye has a scar right through, and in front of the eye. The left eye is partially sunken and has swelling around the eye.

Vet to assess, and will be release to enclosed garden with supplement feeding after treatment.

Here are some photos of some of the hogs being released, ably assisted by young Oliver and his mum Sandra.
