Stillborn babies

Update on our poor mumma hog who gave birth to 3 stillborn babies shortly after arriving here on Monday, having been disturbed in her nest during labour.

She is eating well and has been checked over by our vet to make sure she has no remaining babies inside her or post-partum infection and all is well.

She will have another 48 hours with us before being released in the area she came from, but not her original garden due to building work going on.

Hopefully she will go on to have a successful pregnancy next time
