Hoglets have arrived…

We have hoglets! They came overnight last Friday night/Saturday morning.

Mothers and babies are doing well.

*** please note – the cage is dirty with blood from the birth, This is because disturbing the mother could have lead to her killing or abandoning the babies.

The cage has been spot cleaned only, and will be fully cleaned tomorrow when the mother should have settled down a bit – she is very ‘chuffy’ at the moment, so absolute minimum of noise and disturbance is required to prevent disaster.
