Mum and baby

We collected this mother and hoglet from Upton this morning after they were discovered at the base of a bamboo bush that was being cut down.

The hoglet is only 24 – 48 hours old, having only white spikes.

They are in a nursing box now, so hopefully mum will not reject the hoglet due the the stress of being disturbed and removed.

Big thank you to Andy of ACU Handyman services for calling us immediately he found the nest!
