Chaz

This fine looking chap is Chaz, who was brought to us today after being seen going around in circles in the finders garden.

Chaz is a healthy looking adult male hog, weighing in at 1kg. He appears to have had a blow to the head, which has caused his right eye to go blind. He has a tilt to the right, and some blood by his right ear.

We have given him a good check over, and cannot see anything else wrong with him.

We hope he will make a good recovery, and he can be released back to the finders garden even if blind in one eye.

Hogs with single eye blindness do quite well in the wild, their eyesight is quite poor and they rely on their excellent sense of smell to find food.
