Hamworthy Hedgehog Rescue

**** IMPORTANT MESSAGE ****

Unfortunately, due to Tracy having to go into hospital for surgery at short notice, we are unable to take in any new entries for the next couple of weeks.

This is due to strict ‘shielding’ measures the hospital insist Tracy must do prior to her operation on Thursday next week, and to enable us to provide the necessary level of care required to the 109 hedgehogs and hoglets we currently have in our care.

Should you require urgent help with a hedgehog, please telephone the British Hedgehog Society’s 24/7 helpline on 01584 890801. They will give you contact details of rescues who can help you.

You could also look for a rescue via the helpwildlife.co.uk website, which has a fairly comprehensive list of UK wildlife rescues.

Alternatively, if you are in the Bournemouth or Christchurch area, you can telephone Shirley Daniels on 07879 435916.

We will, of course, return to normal service as soon as possible.

Thank you.
