Hamworthy Hedgehog Rescue

Kezia

This female hedgehog named Kezia, came in to us yesterday via Upton and Wareham Vets.
She has had a close shave with a strimmer and has also got an infection in her right eye. The left eye appears to be lost, although it is not known whether this is a result of the strimmer injuries or a pre-existing injury.
She is having eye drops twice daily. It also appears to be quite “milky”, so we hope it will not mean she has lost the sight in this eye as well. If she has, then she will eventually be released into a walled garden.
