This is our little Drummer boy. He came to us yesterday evening after being found coughing in a garden feeding station during daylight.
At a little over 200g, he was covered in ticks, had a huge infestation of mites and the fungal infection ringworm on his skin. He also has a heavy “rattle” in his lungs. He is a very poorly little hoglet.
With most of the fur from his face and front of head missing, he has the look of a little “clanger” about him. He has been treated for the mites, ticks removed and been bathed to treat and sooth the ringworm inflamed skin.
He is a stoical little guy who enjoys his food and who will take some time to recover from his various conditions.
