Out in Daytime

This 260g juvenile female came in to us today, one of three we have had come in today, having been found out in daytime, wobbling around. She is quite cold and dehydrated. Her eyes and face are swollen, and her snout has been pushed over to the left.

She is not very responsive at the moment. She has been given warm subcutaneous fluids and an anti-inflammatory pain killer injection. She is on a heat pad in one of our ICU’s to warm her up.

Hopefully she will survive the night, and we’ll see how she is in the morning.
