Here’s another good news story – this is little Heath, who came to us almost bald with a very nasty skin infection.
With regular medicated baths and zinc supplements, sprays and ointment, plus a lot of care, he has a lovely coat of shiny new spines, and is looking much more like a hedgehog again.
Hopefully he will be able to be released in the not too distant future, once his spines have fully regrown.

Update on Mabel the hog with constriction injuries ….
On Friday she came back to us after spending 24 hours with our vet. During that time she was anesthetised to enable her gaping throat wound to be cleaned and debrided. She also has laser treatment to speed up the healing process.
