Hamworthy Hedgehog Rescue

Closed for Refurbishment

*** IMPORTANT NEWS ***

Please note that we are now closed to new entries and will re-open early in May.

This is due to major refurbishment taking place. Our main shed is being stripped out, the flooring is being ripped out and renewed and new veterinary style cages are being installed. We are also taking the opportunity to insulate the shed while it is empty.

We will take in hoglets under 200g as we can put them into incubators in another shed, but that is all we can take as we will have nowhere to put larger hedgehogs.

To find other local rescues, please visit helpwildlife.co.uk who maintain a national list of rescues which is searchable by postcode, town etc.

The BHPS offer advice to those with sick, injured or orphaned hedgehogs and maintains a list of rescues in the UK. Please call them on 01584 890801 for further advice and the contact details for other local rescues.

There is plenty of helpful information and FAQ’s on our website at hamworthyhedgehogrescue.org.uk

Thank you for your understanding.
